The British Par 3 Championship

Congratulations to Steve Cowle, the 2007 Numark British Par 3 Champion. With rounds of 25, 29, 23 and 25 Steve posted a winning score of 6 under par, leading Sam Walker by 4 shots. In a tie for 3rd place, Phil Golding, David Bagshaw and David Park all posted scores of +1.

Cowle finishes runner-up at Burgess Hill. After his success at the British Par Champs Steve went to the South region Par 3 event at Burgess Hill with high hopes. After rounds of 50, 52, 52, 8 under par Steve finished runner up to Gary Marks. This result has elevated him to 2nd on the South Region order of merit with just one event remaining.

Steve Cowle shot an eight under par round of 64 in the Stoneham Pro am to set a new course record. Six under par playing the par 5 eighteenth hole, Cowle holed his bunker shot for an eagle to set the new record for a Stoneham course that has been lenghthened in recent years.
